During our first meeting, we will discuss what has brought you to counselling and it will give me a chance to get to know you a bit better. We will also discuss what you'd like to get out of our work together and what length of counselling you'd like (short or long). There is no obligation to continue counselling after the first assessment.
*Please contact me prior to booking this online to ensure the session time you are interested in is available.*
Getting Started- Initial Assessment
I can offer you a warm, safe environment to help you explore your problems without passing judgement. No one is more of an expert on your life than you and I want to understand and work through your problems with you. I value your experiences and what you bring to our sessions. We will work together in order to build confidence, independence, and resilience to improve and maintain your wellbeing.
Individual Counselling Sessions
If you're unable to meet, I am happy to offer you individual video counselling sessions to accommodate your needs.
Individual Video Counselling Sessions
I offer tailor-made Wellbeing and Mental Health Workshops that provide psychoeducation to groups or individuals within organisations to generate a more positive environment. I focus on understanding different areas of mental health (i.e. stress, anxiety, depression...etc) and different ways of managing issues, by providing strategies to manage life's difficulties and reduce symptoms.
If you are unable to attend our session and provide me with more than 48 hours notice, there is no charge and we can simply re-arrange our session.
However, if the session is cancelled within the 48 hour notice period then a fee will apply.
In the first instance of a missed/late cancelled session, there will be a £12 fee to cover the cost of the room. Any additional missed sessions will be charged at the full £45 session fee.
